Dr. Hordge-Freeman co-directs documentary “Journey Towards Justice”
In collaboration with cinematographer Ta’Bria Snowden alongside Kathleen M. Heide and Nicole Luckett, M.Ed., we highlight the Black freedom movement and showcase how students’ immersive experiences can raise awareness about and promote racial justice.

Dr. Hordge-Freeman provided the keynote speech entitled, “Imagine Blackness: Power, Purpose and Pursuit of Joy.” She and her husband also exhibited their work from the Imagine Blackness project and facilitated community conversations at the Well.
