Dr. Hordge-Freeman provided the keynote speech entitled, “Imagine Blackness: Power, Purpose and Pursuit of Joy.” She and her husband also exhibited their work from the Imagine Blackness project and facilitated community conversations at the Well.

Dr. Hordge-Freeman co-organized with Monica Narain a pilot of the USF African American Read-In at Lomax Elementary.
