The Afro-Romance Institute presents lecture by Dr. Elizabeth Hordge-Freeman, “The Color of Love: Racial Features, Stigma, and Socialization in Black Brazilian Families” Dr. Elizabeth Hordge-Freeman will present her book, The Color Of Love, which reveals the power of racial hierarchies to infiltrate our most intimate relationships.

Dr. Hordge-Freeman presented on “affective capital” and love at Florida International University.
